This attachment has been constructed for bulk boxes with frontal bottom discharge. The drop-bottom box dumper is installed on the fork carrier between the existing forks. The special boxes have a drop bottom, which opens like a jaw when the attachment lifts the box hydraulically by means of the lifting hook. In the metal industry, a typical application is the handling of stamping parts and screws. The drop-bottom box dumper is also often used in combination with a fork positioner.
