Ladle side tippers
Pouring of metal
- Pivot point near the crucible opening
- Tilt angle of up to 100°
- Optional: tilting in the direction of travel
A side tipping device is often used to tilt crucibles in a controlled manner and empty their contents precisely. It is ideal for applications where liquid or molten materials such as metal need to be emptied in a safe and controlled manner. By tilting to the side, the operator can discharge the crucible contents in a targeted manner without moving the forklift. This enables efficient and safe handling, especially in confined areas or during continuous casting processes.

Safe tipping of crucibles
Safe tipping is crucial when handling pouring crucibles in order to avoid accidents and injuries. When pouring molten metal or other hot liquids, precise control is essential as uncontrolled spillage is a high risk. Controlled tipping avoids splashes and unexpected spills, protecting both the operator and the environment. It also reduces material loss and ensures a consistent pouring process - a key factor for quality and efficiency in production.

stabau ladle side tippers
The side tipping device is used for casting liquid metal. The centre of rotation is positioned in the area of the crucible opening, which means that the pouring stream only moves slightly. The offset can be compensated by the sideshift.

Charging Devices (Rotatable)
The charging device is used to charge melting furnaces with aggregates. The device consists of a 360° rotating device with an attached support arm on which there is a mechanically or hydraulically lockable trough.
